ATLANTA—In an effort to make it easier for integrators to provide comprehensive outdoor security solutions, smart thermal camera provider SightLogix on Sept. 29 launched a Strategic Partner Program, and announced that its first strategic partner is network video giant Axis Communications.

ADT rebrands business unit, identifies 12 target markets

BOCA RATON, Fla.— Marking the Sept. 29 expiration of its non-compete with TycoIS, ADT today changed the name of its commercial division from ADT Small Business to simply ADT Business and it revealed the 12 markets it is targeting as it expands its reach into bigger business.
Since it split with its former sister company TycoIS in 2011, ADT has been limited to working with commercial businesses under 7,500 square feet.

BOCA RATON, Fla.—When TycoIS's non-compete agreement with ADT expires next week, the integrator is poised to expand its small business footprint with the launch of a new HD IP camera line that's bundled with a security assessment, a mobile app and flexible financing options.

Universal Protection Security Systems leads with IP

SANTA ANA, Calif.— Universal Protection Security Systems, the integration arm of guarding giant Universal Protection, leads with IP video surveillance solutions “90 percent of the time,” according to UPSS's Bob Hinton.
