Vince DiValerio retires after 48-year career with Vector Security

PITTSBURGH—Security solutions provider Vector Security has announced the retirement of longtime employee Vince DiValerio, effective April 30, after 48 years with the company.

DiValerio joined Vector Security in June 1976 and held various positions in the company including roles in sales, branch management, district management and, for the last 24 years, as the vice president of acquisitions.

Vector SecurityIn his acquisition role, DiValerio was responsible for overseeing the company’s acquisition growth strategy, including the most recent acquisition of ADS Security in 2019.

“I want to personally thank Vince for his many years of service with our company, and for being an integral part of our success through the years,” said Pam Petrow, CEO of Vector Security. “We wish Vince the very best as he enters this new stage in his life.”

The company noted that DiValerio is well-respected in the security industry and “has been a catalyst for our continued growth over the years. We are indebted to Vince for his commitment to propelling us to our current position and managing our internal team members and external stakeholders with dignity, respect, and professionalism. His work has laid the foundation for our future acquisition growth strategies.”

Ryan Dreliszak assumed lead responsibilities for all company mergers and acquisitions, effective May 1, 2024. Dreliszak has been working closely with DiValerio over the last year, and he has started to assess Vector’s next steps as the company begins to look at future acquisition opportunities.

“Ryan is eager to get out there and meet business owners and our industry partners, and he has the experience and energy to cultivate and drive new acquisition opportunities,” noted Chuck Thropp, CFO for Vector Security.
