Securityhunter gets SSA contract
BALTIMORE—Securityhunter, a government security solutions integrator headquartered here in February received a $200 million Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide security systems and support services for 1,500 Social Security Administration locations nationwide.
Securityhunter will provide enterprise-level security solutions to protect SSA personnel, customers and assets over a five-year period. SecurityHunter has several civilian and military government clients.
This significant contract catapults Securityhunter into the top-tier of government security providers, the company said. The company has made the Inc. 500 and Inc. 5000 fast growth charts for several years.
Securityhunter founder and CEO Michael Rogers believes the company has experienced unparalleled growth due to its focus on establishing a BPA with government agencies to contract security installations, products and ongoing maintenance services. A BPA leverages the government’s buying power by maximizing quantity discounts and by reducing administrative time and paperwork.
