Ackerman is #8 in Atlanta

ATLANTA--The July issue of Atlanta Magazine named Ackerman Security Systems as the eighth best place to work in the city.
Jim Callahan, Ackerman’s chief operating officer, said he was “honored and proud to be recognized as putting our employees first,†according to a prepared statement.
“What is particularly gratifying and unique is that the information compiled by Atlanta Magazine was based on the nominations and survey results of employees from these companies, not management,†he said.
Atlanta Magazine created the ranking process, employee survey and company profile form with input from management experts at Georgia Tech, Georgia State University and local human resources firms, according to an Ackerman press release.
