ADI's new video messaging

ADI's new video messaging TVs to roll out to branches in Q2

MELVILLE, N.Y.--In an attempt to help individual locations enhance their customer experience, distributor ADI is launching a video messaging program this spring that will involve ceiling-mounted high-definition televisions broadcasting ADI-generated content. A pilot phase operated in 16 branches through the end of February. "March 1 we start what we consider live content," said ADI vice president of marketing Randy Teague. "We'll run each item for 30 days, but refresh with new content every two weeks." Content consists of vendor messages, items about ADI events and facts and history of the security industry. The program will be rolled out to more than 100 ADI locations in the second quarter of 2006. "In our industry," said Teague, "this is unique."
