ADS wins spate of awards in Vegas

LAS VEGAS--Seven security companies of different sizes took home Dealer of the Year Awards from the Honeywell First Alert dealers conference in Las Vegas late last year. The first place winners were: A-Com Protection Services of Fortson, Ga.; Engineered Protection Systems of Grand Rapids Mich.; Guardian Protection Services of Pittsburgh; Modern Systems of Somerset, Ky; Protek of Asuncion, Paraguay; Security Equipment of Omaha, Neb.; and, Systems of Nevada of Sparks, Nev. ADS Security of Nashville received the Medal of Honor for outstanding contributions to the First Alert Professionals Program and the Sales Leader of the Year award for having the "highest quality sales management." Along with 19 other companies, also ADS received a Community Service Award. ADS was given special recognition for its work with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America throughout the Southeast, said Angela Remmert of First Alert. In addition, ADS received third place in a sales competition. With more than 50,000 accounts, ADS Security operates 13 offices in four states, Tennessee, Alabama, Kentucky and Georgia.
