ADT execs receive SIAC William Moody award

BOCA RATON, Fla.--Three ADT executives received the Security Industry Alarm Coalition’s annual William N. Moody Excellence Award at the June ESX show in Nashville, Tenn. Honorees were Bill Cooper, Larry Dischert and John Sargent. The award recognizes people who “throughout their careers, have made a significant impact on the benefits that alarm systems provide to communities,” according to an ADT press release. Cooper is industry liaison manager for ADT who has been involved with alarm management issues for more than 20 years. Dischert recently retired as director of industry and regulator liaison for ADT. He worked for ADT for 32 years and helped develop the first automation of alarm monitoring in the mid-1970s. Sargent is industry relations manager for ADT, and “is recognized as one of the strongest leaders on alarm response issues in the U.S.” He has 35 years of experience in the security industry.
