Allied Fire & Security promotes Summers to VP operations & biz dev
Allied Fire & Security announced on April 20 the promotion of Craig Summers to vice president of operations & business development. Summers has been part of the Allied family for a total of 18 years and has been serving as Allied’s sales & marketing manager for the past 5 years. Summers started working at Allied as an electronics technician in 1983. Summers also spent 14 years working in the manufacturing side of the security and life safety integration business. “We are proud to have Craig as our new vice president of operations,” President Jay Hunt said. “His experience in all facets of the security industry are invaluable to Allied.” In addition to an extensive sales and marketing background, Summers is NICET Level 4 certified in fire alarm systems and has a strong background in the technical and operations side of business.
