Apx Alarm gets local chamber award

PROVO, Utah--Apx Alarm Security Solutions announced in August that it had been awarded the 2008 “Business of the Year” by the Provo-Orem Area Chamber of Commerce.

“The purpose of Apx Alarm is to help people, help our customers protect their families, help our employees have success in life and help the community by giving back. We are grateful that our contribution to the community has been recognized,” said Keith Nellesen, Apx president, in a prepared statement.

Since its founding in 1999, the residential security company has experienced phenomenal growth, installing nearly 500,000 home security systems. The company now has more 4,000 employees across the country during its summer selling season.

They have provided jobs and a great service all over the nation and have been recognized as a fast growing and credible organization,” said Steve Densley, president and CEO of the Provo-Orem Area Chamber of Commerce.
