Avalon Technologies announces Bodnar as GM

Avalon Technologies, an industry leader in emergency call and communications technology for the senior care industry, announced Feb. 11 it had promoted Ron Bodnar to the position of general manager. Bodnar, whose tenure with Avalon dates back to the company's founding in 2004, will be responsible for managing all day to day operations and for crafting a strategic vision for the company's future. Avalon Technologies uses a web-based system to provide communications services for senior housing facilities, including emergency call systems, administration phone systems and resident's phone systems. With a staff of professional programmers, Avalon specializes in integrating the Avalon software package with existing systems and providing revenue for facilities by generating billing for resident's long distance service.
