Axis Communications names Meltzer as A&E, consultant program manager

Axis Communications, a provider of network video, on Jan. 12 announced that it had named Jack L. Meltzer as its A&E (architectural and engineering) and consultant program manager. Meltzer will be the chief liaison and manage Axis' programs for the architectural, engineering and professional security consultant communities. He will report to Dr. Jumbi Edulbehram, director, business development. Axis' A&E program provides a set of outstanding support tools for network architects, engineers and consultants who design and specify IP-based security systems. There are currently more than 600 North American consultants in the program. Meltzer has more than 25 years of security industry experience. Prior to joining Axis, Meltzer was with ICx Technologies; before that, he worked for 10 years at Lenel. Prior to Lenel, he was president of Wornall Electronics (acquired by Niscayah in 2005), one of the nations oldest electronic security system integration houses. He has been a member of ASIS since 1988.
