CUPERTINO, Calif.—Intransa, a supplier of simple and scalable installer-ready appliances, purpose-built for the demands of physical security and industrial video, on May 3 announced the addition of industry executive, Ayal Vogel, to its leadership team. As vice president of business development, Vogel will assume responsibility for the growth of Intransa's extensive sales and technology partnerships and its continued, rapid expansion.
“Intransa's products completely eliminate the risk, cost and complexity of relying on commodity IT server and storage hardware for the demanding physical security market, by offering simpler, less expensive and more reliable appliance solutions,” said Vogel in a release. “With the industry's leading video management software vendors already working closely with Intransa, I'm looking forward to leading the business development team that made that happen while extending our industry partnerships in new ways that further benefit our customers.”
Vogel joins Intransa from global security integrator Safeguards Technology where he was vice president of sales and marketing. Over the past two decades in the industry, he was president of AMID and Barantec, he also held EVP assignments at Indentica Holdings and Mer. He also held successful long-term sales assignments at Honeywell/ADI and Visonic Ltd.
