Bond would pay for sprinklers Brief

NORCO--The Corona-Norco Unified School District's board of education is expected to decide this month whether to ask voters to approve a $250 million bond in November, to be used to construct new schools and renovate existing schools, the Daily Bulletin reported. Part of the funds would be used to install fire sprinklers in existing and new schools. This area is experiencing explosive growth, regularly adding "2,000 new students per year" to the local school system, the paper reported. New home construction in South Corona and the Eastvale areas are primarily responsible for the growth in the school population.
