Member network for SecurityNet hits 17 CARNEGIE, Pa. - SecurityNet, a network of systems integrators that work together providing service to national accounts, has added InterTECH Security as its 17th member. InterTECH, a full-service systems integrator, provides coverage in western Pennsylvania and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. The company also maintains an office in Gaithersburg, Md., to handle client accounts in the Washington area. InterTECH was founded in 2000 by Chris Wetzel, who handles business development and oversees consulting and system design activities. The company’s client list includes PNC Park, the Pittsburgh Convention Center and the University of Pittsburgh. Casino upgrades surveillance system LAS VEGAS - Systems integrator North American Video recently completed an extensive upgrade to the security and surveillance systems at the Golden Nugget Casino and Hotel. The system, installed by the Brick, N.J.-based company, provides expanded surveillance control capabilities by using an Ultrak MAX-1000 Video Management System. The system controls several hundred cameras located throughout the casino, hotel and surrounding property. The upgrades enable security personnel to monitor and control cameras through 10 keyboard controllers within the casino’s security system. The system also accommodated the Gold Nugget’s existing American Dynamics dome and PTZ system. NSI’s network membership grows GERMANTOWN, Md. - National Security Integrators, a group of privately held systems integrators, has added AC Technical from Canada as its latest member. AC Technical joins as the 11th member of NSI and provides coverage in Canada. NSI formed a year ago to offer security customers national scale and service through its network of members. So far, the network provides coverage in 35 areas across the United States and into Canada.
