RS&I, SAFE partner for program IDAHO FALLS, Idaho - RS&I, a distribution company that offers affinity programs in vertical markets, has renewed its partnership with SAFE Financial, based in San Ramon, Calif., to launch a new phase of the Alliance program. Through the partnership, RS&I will offer dealers a multiple level program with services such as Express Pay, Alliance On-line Services and area sales managers. Members of the Alliance would also have access to brands such as DIRECT TV, XM Satellite Radio and CCL Closed Circuit Leasing. HAI products chosen for development NEW ORLEANS - Home Automation Inc. announced in January that the company’s OmniLT security and automation controller would be standard issue for homes in a 450-acre planned community near Houston. Land Tejas, the developer behind Legends Ranch Community, a development that will have 1,000 homes, said that HAI’s systems are a perfect fit for their customers’ needs. The system is custom installed in the home’s structured wiring enclosure, and includes HAI’s OmniLT controller and console, security system and telephone access. Homeowners can also select remote control Omni thermostats, lighting controls, touch screens and HAI’s Web-Link II software for Internet access and control. Construction began on the homes in the summer of 2003. Builders such as Brighton Homes, First Texas Homes, Legacy Homes and Pulte Homes are working on the project. Tyco declares quarterly dividend PEMBROKE, Bermuda - Tyco International, parent of ADT, declared its regular quarterly dividend in late January. The cash dividend was one and one quarter cents per common share and is payable on May 3, 2004 to shareholders of record on April 1, 2004.
