Monitronics makes seventh Inc. list DALLAS - Monitronics International has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies. This is the seventh time the company has made the list. Monitronics also made it into Inc.’s top 25 for annual revenue. Inc. ranks privately held American companies in terms of sales growth over the previous five years, and has annually ranked private companies for more than 20 years. Monitronics, which recently reported revenues for its fiscal 2003 ending on June 30 (SSN, November 2003), brought in $126 million for the year, up 14 percent from fiscal 2002. Bold to distribute C3 software GURNEE, Ill. - Bold Technologies has signed a distribution agreement with C3 Location Systems of Boca Raton, Fla., under which Bold will provide its customers with location-based monitoring software. By combining C3 Command Center software with Bold’s Manitou central station product, the two companies hope to give customers more options for monitoring, such as monitoring vehicles, managing fleets and tracking assets. COPS Monitoring teams with Lease-1 WILLIAMSTOWN, N.J. - COPS Monitoring has teamed with Lease-1, a leasing company based in Peoria, Ill., to provide its dealers with an alternative that they can present to their customers who either don’t want to or can’t afford to purchase equipment. Using Lease-1’s commercial lease program, dealers will be able to get quick credit decisions, same-day funding and competitive rates. As an added bonus, monthly monitoring fees can be added to any equipment lease contract, provided customers sign on for five years of monitoring services. Founded in 1989, Lease-1 has provided financing for capital equipment to customers who are looking for equipment such as video monitoring equipment, CCTV card access and computers.
