AlarmForce announces first quarter results TORONTO - AlarmForce Industries, a manufacturer and installer of two-way voice alarm systems based here, is announcing a gain in revenues for the first quarter of fiscal 2003 that ended Jan. 31. According to company officials, revenues increased 21 percent from the same quarter a year ago. Net income also increased 18 percent from the previous year. “In view of the fact that we have consistently bettered our previous record, year after year in the last several years, we are ecstatic about the company’s results for this quarter,” said Joel Matlin, AlarmForce president and chief executive officer. Speakers announced for digital home conference SAN JOSE, Calif. - Parks Associates has announced the speakers for its Connections digital home conference and showcase to be held here May 7-9. On May 8, Kevin Eagan, general manager of Microsoft’s Windows eHome division, will give the keynote speech. Eagan will address Microsoft’s “big bet” that both advanced PCs and networked devices that integrate technologies will offer the best opportunities in the connected home. Stewart Realty Services offers new web site HOUSTON - Stewart Realty Services, a real estate information company based here, is offering customers a new website that allows them to connect and disconnect services and even compare prices. As many as 25 home services are provided through StewartConnect, including alarm monitoring, phone service, Internet service, electricity, a change of address service, and even maid service to clean up after the move.
