ADDISON, Texas - Zunicom announced this week that Brink’s Home Security has signed a two-year contract renewal with its subsidiary Universal Power Group, a provider of portable power and related portable-powered products. The agreement is expected to bring at least $90 million in revenue for Universal Power over the next three years.
Under the terms of the deal, the Universal Power Group will manage all of Brink’s Home Security’s product procurement, warehousing, fulfillment and distribution needs. These products include batteries, transformers, speakers, sirens and cable. The contract renewal also enables Brink’s to renew its contract with Universal beyond the initial two years, through two one-year increments.
In addition to Universal Power Group, Zunicom is the parent company of AlphaNet, a supplier of communication and related product to the hospitality industry.
