RICHMOND, Va.--The Brink's Company, parent company of Brink's Home Security, announced Oct. 16 that Robert T. Ritter will retire as the company's vice president and chief financial officer. A search to replace him has been initiated. Ritter will stay until a replacement is found. "On behalf of the board, and management team, I thank Bob for all of his hard work, dedication and passion over the past 10 years," said Michael T. Dan, chairman, president and chief executive officer, in a statement. Ritter said, in a statement, that he was proud of the significant progress Brink's had made. "Among other things, we successfully completed a series of major strategic initiatives, including several divestitures that repositioned the company for growth. It has been a privilege and an honor to participate in this very exciting chapter of Brink's history."
