Chainsaw Man gets wired Brief

AVON, Minn.--Mark Kurtz, a chainsaw artist and former professional wrestler known as "Chainsaw Man," made a New Year's resolution to install a new security system in his home-based art studio after four of the nine sculptures stolen from his home in August 2005 were recovered last month, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune. Police found three sculptures, including Kurtz's "most prized work," a seven-and-one-half-foot cigar-store Indian, in a rented storage shed in Fargo, N.D. The thieves stole the sculptures, which were under floodlights and bolted to the ground, from in front of Kurtz's studio. In addition to installing the security system, Kurtz said he wouldn't leave sculptures outside anymore.
