Chamberlain Group buys gate company

ELMHURST, Ill. - Door and gate company The Chamberlain Group has acquired Automatic Gate Supply, a more than 30-year old company that offers access control systems and gate hardware and operators.
David Rolls, chief executive officer of The Chamberlain Group, said the addition of AGS broadens the company’s product offering in the gate market. The Chamberlain Group offers residential and commercial door openers, gate operators and related access control products.
Rolls noted that AGS has excellent reputation in the market for its durability and quality of products.
Plans call for the former owner of AGS, Ed Court, to remain with the company to assist in the transition.
