Contigo receives patent
VANCOUVER, British Columbia--Contigo, a provider of turnkey GPS solutions for asset tracking, fleet management and personal safety, announced on April 30 that it was issued a U.S. Patent for monitoring the movements of mobile items.
ContigoÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s patented method allows monitoring of the operations and location of mobile items using multiple forms of location-determining technology. The method allows access using a Web browser or thin client as an interface.
Ã¢â‚¬Å“We look forward to using this first patent as the springboard for innovations yet to come,Ã¢â‚¬Â said John Tedesco, president and chief executive officer of Contigo in a prepared statement.
The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued ContigoÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s patent as U.S. Patent Number 7,327,258. Other patents are pending.
