Counterforce USA completes acquisitions

HOUSTON-Counterforce USA announced in January it had completed the acquisitions of Alarm Processing Corp. and A-Link USA, deals that the company initially announced in July. The combined companies provide wholesale alarm monitoring, dealer funding programs, financial services, and customer and dealer support. Counterforce USA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chubb plc, a $2 billion global company. National Monitoring Center operational ALISO VIEJO, Calif.-National Monitoring Center, which opened for business Oct. 15, is now fully operational, said company officials. Michael Schubert and Woodie Andrawos, both formerly with National Alarm Computer Center, started the new contract central station last fall in a 10,00-square-foot facility with state of the art technology, the two said. NMC uses MAStermind Software from Irvine, Calif.-based Monitoring Automation Systems and also offers MASWeb to its dealers. Criticom, eTracker partner for mobile monitoring MINNEAPOLIS-Criticom International, a part of King-Monital-IDC, has signed a partnership with a mobile tracking company to provide a mobile emergency monitoring solution for organizations that have a number of mobile employees. Criticom, a call center known as the International Dispatch Center, will monitor signals from eTracker Inc.'s PulStar mobile tracking device, which is tied into the company's Cellemetry network. The company also offers GPS-based vehicle tracking and fleet management.
