Creative Vista subsidiary inks deal worth $177K

WHITBY, Ontario - Creative Vistas announced its subsidiary AC Technical Systems inked a contract valued at CAD 220,000 ($177,000) with an undisclosed Canadian retailer with locations throughout the country. As a result of the deal, AC Technical Systems will install access control and CCTV equipment at one of the retailer’s stores. The installation is projected for completion by the end of the second quarter. Last month, the same retailer awarded the subsidiary a contract worth $363,000. Creative Vistas, and its wholly owned subsidiary AC Technical Systems, provide integrated electronic security and surveillance systems. Deal expands Worcester, Mass. reach WORCESTER, Mass. - American Alarm & Communications expanded its reach in the Worcester suburbs, buying Argus Alarm, a small company that has been in business since the early 1970s. The transaction is a strategic move for the company, providing it with a sizeable piece of business in this area. It also complements American Alarm’s acquisition of Alphatronics Security of Worcester, the July 2003 deal that added an office in central Massachusetts. Thanks to buying Argus Alarm, American Alarm gains former owner Kenneth Gorczynski, who will remain onboard in a sales capacity, and technician Roger Bohn, who worked for Argus Alarm for 18 years. Gorczynski’s wife, Kristine, who handled bookkeeping and administration, will retire. The tool assists law enforcement and first responders by providing a three-dimensional view of a building and its surroundings. The information contained in the the map includes locations of valve shutoffs, hazardous materials and personnel.
