DVTel acquires OmniVee

RIDGEFIELD, N.J.--In line with their recent growth pattern, DVTel, a provider of integrated IP security products for surveillance and monitoring, acquired existing business partner OmniVee, a developer of behavioral analysis and object tracking software. DVTel and OmniVee jointly developed the technology suite, Adaptive Visualization Technology, patent-pending software that uses computer vision technology for enhanced CCTV data acquisition, management and analysis. Privately held DVTel relocated here from Paramus, N.J. last year, citing the need for more space due to business growth. Earlier this summer, the company expanded its call center and staff to 65 employees.
