Evergreen Fire and Security announces new GM Tim Braden

TACOMA, Wash.—Evergreen Fire and Security, which provides a wide array of fire and security services for federal government and commercial customers, on April 6 announced the appointment of security expert Tim Braden as general manager. This move comes at a propitious time for Evergreen as the small business celebrates its 10th anniversary. The company has grown its staff and customer base, spreading its footprint across the United States and overseas, and the addition of Braden will undoubtedly lead to even greater success.

Braden brings over 30 years of management experience in the security industry and a host of impressive credentials (including ASIS board certification in CPP and PSP and the Department of Homeland Security CHI-III certification) to Evergreen. A retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, Braden worked in managerial and advisory roles for the Department of Defense, was Deputy Provost Marshal for the Fort Lewis Police Department, and served four years as the Chief of Physical Security at Fort Lewis. During that time he oversaw the upgrade of the base-wide intrusion detection system to ICIDS-II, a project massive in scope and vital for the base's protection and operation. Recently, before joining Evergreen, Braden was the Training Director for the Transportation Safety Administration, Department of Homeland Security at SeaTac Airport.

As general manager, Braden will oversee Evergreen's day-to-day operations, which include extensive work for the Department of Defense at locations across the United States. Evergreen works closely with their government customers, providing innovative fire and security system solutions that help them accomplish their goals and comply with an ever-increasing list of standards, such as the new FIPS-201 and HSPD-12 requirements.
