PHILADELPHIA--Sgt. Pisey Tan, who lost both legs while serving in combat in the Middle East, was scheduled to move into a new home on Dec. 14. Everything from the building to the security and fire system and the furniture was donated by local businesses.
The project was organized by the local contractor, The McKee Group. Although his business doesn't usually do residential work, FAMCO, a commercial fire protection company here, donated and installed "a security system and fire alarm system with wireless medical alert buildings," said Ken Scott, president of FAMCO.
