DENTON, Texas--Following two suspicious church fires, the Denton Fire Department on Nov. 11 warned local church officials to be vigilant and to ensure that fire alarms and fire suppression equipment are in good working order, according to a report from NBC 5 KXAS.
Arsonists broke into Christ the Servant Lutheran Church, on Oct. 25, and Centerpoint Baptist Church on Nov. 6, and set both on fire.
Rick Jones, Denton fire marshall, said the DFD isn't sure how many arsonists were involved, and is seeking witnesses.
