BETHPAGE, N.Y.--Cablevision Systems announced plans last month to connect digital phone services to security systems as part of any VoIP installation. Industry members have voiced concern over VoIP in recent months. Some complaints are incapability between the two technologies and a lack of 911 emergency services. Cablevision will ensure communication between fire and burglar alarm panels, and the central stations that monitors these systems.
