FM approves axonX

SPARKS, Md.--On March 26, axonX, a developer of video-based fire, smoke and intrusion detection technology, announced that Factory Mutual approved the SigniFire FSM-8 System. The FSM-8 was tested to FM 3260 and ANSI/UL 268 standards. The FM approval on the DVR unit means, "We are now a listed supplemental system, so we can go in and tie into fire panels, for example," explained Mac Mottley, axonX chief executive officer.
