BEDFORD, Mass.--VideoIQ announced Oct. 6 the addition of Don Bulens to its board of directors. As former president and CEO of EqualLogic, Bulens led the company to success in the high performance iSCSI storage area network (SAN) market and ultimately to an acquisition by Dell for $1.375 billion. Bulens’ expertise in the storage industry and track record in bringing products to market will help VideoIQ build on its position in the intelligent video surveillance marketplace. “Don knows what it takes to build a company, successfully pioneer a market, and introduce revolutionary benefits to an established marketplace,” said Scott Schnell, CEO of VideoIQ, in a statement. “In particular, his expertise in bringing ground-breaking products through the channel will be a tremendous asset to us as we make intelligence part of every surveillance system. We are thrilled to have him join the board.”
