PLEASANT HILLS, Pa.--Sens. Arlen Specter and Rick Santorum, both R-Pa., jointly announced $248,188 in grant money would soon be on its way to the Pleasant Hills Volunteer Fire Department, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette reported. The fire department will use the funds for firefighter operations, firefigher safety, emergency medical services, purchase of vehicles and prevention programs.
