Greater Alarm relocates regional office

October 2, 2003 SAN DIEGO - Systems integrator Greater Alarm has moved one of its Southern California branch offices to larger office space, company officials announced. The move of the company's San Diego County branch office from Carlsbad to San Diego will give the company more breathing room and will move that branch's employees closer to the majority of its customer base. "We had outgrown our Carlsbad location so it was time to move on to a more functional space," said Jon Schacht, general manager of Greater Alarm's San Diego operations. The new office location will allow the company to strengthen relationships with contractors, construction project managers and building owners in California, Schacht said. The new office will join the company's other locations in the Irvine, Temecula, Sacramento and San Jose areas. Greater Alarm opened the Carlsbad location in 2000.
