Guardian Solutions systems finds home at eastern ports

BRADENTON, Fla.--The ports of Wilmington and Morehead, N.C., tapped Guardian Solutions in September to install GuardianWatch, a perimeter monitoring and event recording device in September. This is the tenth U.S. seaport contract for the intelligent video surveillance systems manufacturer making it one of the most widely deployed systems in the United States. The system interfaces with Pelco's DX8000, digital video recorder and camera network. The integration will assist the ports in landside and waterside perimeter intrusion monitoring, and responder notification and event recording. The security system was designed by C.H. Guernsey & Co., a consulting security firm, and integrated by Johnson Controls.
