Hackett Security makes a buy

ST. LOUIS, Mo.--Hackett Security, a security system installer based here, today announced the acquisition of Secure Tech, based in Jackson, Mo. Secure Tech is a full-service security firm specializing in the sales of security and fire alarm systems, card access systems, closed circuit video systems, intercom/sound systems and related products. The acquisition will enable Hackett to expand its customer base throughout Southeast Missouri.
Secure Tech was founded by Brian K. Mouser in 1992. Hackett officials said the firm has earned an excellent reputation for its expedient and reliable service, expertise in the industry, and highly skilled and experienced staff.
"The acquisition of Secure Tech provides Hackett Security with excellent avenues for growth," said Michael J. Hackett, CEO and president, in a statement. "They already enjoy a solid reputation coupled with longevity and profitability. They have a strategic location close to Southern Illinois, Northern Kentucky and Arkansas. Secure Tech provides us with the opportunity to expand quickly as we continue to grow on a regional and national basis."
