SADDLE BROOK, N.J.--Henry Bros. Electronics got a ticket to ride this month, when the systems integrator won a $1.1 million contract from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.
Under the terms of the deal, Henry Bros. will upgrade the CCTV system through the agency's Port Authority Trans-Hudson transit system. PATH provides train services between New Jersey and New York City.
The work includes upgrading existing surveillance systems to a digital recording platform, providing a network of video workstations, mounting new system servers to control more than 600 cameras and installing high-speed data transmission equipment.
In August, Diversified Security Solutions officially changed its name to Henry Bros. Electronics, the name used by its installation arm. The company, which provided security systems, services and consultation to corporate and government clients, now trades with the stock ticker HBE.
