Home Technologies looks to acquire Premier company

September 16, 2004 BELLEVUE, Wash. - Home Technologies, a home automation systems integrator, has acquired Premier Technology Group, a custom electronics firm with 2003 revenues of more than $5.7 million. The acquisition is the second Home Technologies has completed since July, when it acquired Digitech Home Systems. The deal will move the firm one step closer to developing its dealer network and towards expanding throughout the northwestern United States. Once the purchase is finalized, Bruce Moses, president and chief executive officer of Premier Technology, will move into the role of chief operating officer of Home Technologies. Also as part of the agreement, Premier’s three office locations will become wholly-owned subsidiaries of the residential integrator and will take the Home Technologies’ name Financial details of the transaction were not released.
