HS3 Technologies to buy Tech America Brief

DENVER--HS3 Technologies, a provider of security solutions that include biometrics and remote surveillance, announced April 19 it has signed a letter of intent to purchase Tech America, a so-called "one-stop-shop" providing technology solutions to the fast food restaurant industry. Terms of the deal have not been released.
Tech America is a supplier of technology to restaurants, including headset systems, drive-through video and DVR surveillance. "The acquisition of Tech America will combine HS3's security products and services, including remote video and biometric access control, with Tech America's technological solutions and products," said Mark Lana, HS3 president, in a provided statement. "The merger of these two companies will expand our market segment and ... provide immediate revenue, allowing us to expand our sales goals aggressively based on the synergies between our two companies."
