Identix identifies $1M contract

MINNETONKA, Minn. - An unnamed state law enforcement agency renewed its product contract with Identix Inc., awarding the multi-biometric technology company a new purchase order valued at more than $1 million.
Under the terms of the deal, the company will provide and install its recently launched Identix TouchPrint Enhanced Definition 3000 Series of live scan systems. The installation, which is slated for completion this year, replaces and upgrades existing Identix live scan systems.
The TouchPrint product includes finger and facial recognition technology applications. In addition to law enforcement deployments, the product is designed for travel, non-government and national identification markets.
