IEI listed in the Globe 100

CANTON, Mass.-International Electronics Inc. has been named to the Globe 100, The Boston Globe's annual list of top performing companies in Massachusetts. The company was listed 95 out of 100 companies overall and 73 in a list that ranked top performance for return on equity. "It is a great credit to our customers and employees that IEI has achieved these results and is ranked with other prestigious Massachusetts companies like Staples and Gillette in the Globe 100," said John Waldstein, chief executive officer and chairman of IEI. The Globe 100 list included financial data for the four quarters ending Dec. 31, 2001. The criteria for ranking includes sales revenue, net income and profit margin. Securitron names new president RENO, Nev.-Securitron Magna-lock Corp. has appointed Scott M. Baker as president and chief executive officer. Baker replaces Robert Cook who was appointed President of Medeco Security Locks in Salem, Va. The announcement was made by Assa Abloy North America President Clas Thelin during a meeting held with Securitron's employees on May 31, 2002. Baker joined Securitron in 1984 as a field sales manager. He has been director of sales since 2000 and becomes the second president in Securitron's twenty-one year history. Both Securitron Magnalock and Medeco Security Locks are Assa Abloy Group Companies. SDC unveils new website WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif.-Security Door Controls' 30th anniversary was marked by the introduction of a new access control hardware web site, www.sdcsecurity.com. The web site provides access to information on any SDC product with information available in a printable format.
