NORMAL, Ill.--The Illinois State University board of trustees in February voted to issue $47 million in revenue bonds to pay for campus improvements including new sprinkler systems and upgrades in fire detection and alarm systems, the PJStar reported. The fire improvement portions of the project are expected to begin in the summer of 2007 and should take close to a year to complete.
