HAMILTON, Bermuda--In keeping with their recent strategy of purchasing systems integrators, Ingersoll-Rand announced Dec. 1 the acquisition of the China-based Shenzen Bocom System Engineering Co. Though subject to regulatory approvals, the deal is expected to close in early 2006. Terms were not disclosed. Bocom System is the largest independent security systems integration company in China, according to a press release. Since 2002, the company has purchased integrators including Electronic Technologies Corp., Integrated Access Systems, FX Technologies and Security One Systems in North America. In August, 2005, IR acquired the India-based Dolphin Electromagnetic Technologies.
