Ioimage's new CEO

HERZLIYA, Israel--Ioimage, a maker of intelligent video appliances designed for simplicity, announced in January that Zeev Farkash, vice president of global sales and customer services, has been appointed chief executive officer.

Farkash replaces Roni Kass, ioimage's founder and CEO, who has taken on the role of president in order to focus more on strategy, corporate vision, long-term growth and enhancing the company's leadership position. Under Kass' direction, ioimage has grown from its inception in 2000 to become the world's leader for intelligent cameras and encoders with more than 37 percent of the market (according to IMS Research), operating in 35 countries with more than 100 partners.

Farkash has more than 14 years of experience in business development, sales and marketing in the security and surveillance fields, as well as in semiconductors, IT and communications. Prior to joining ioimage, Farkash was vice president for sales and marketing at Unisor Design Services, where he played a pivotal role in converting Unisor from a subcontracting and outsourcing business to a company specializing in high-end devices for military and security market applications.
