IQinVision announces new positions, sales staff, and promotions

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, Calif., and LANCASTER, Pa.—IQinVision, a provider of high-performance HD megapixel network cameras, smart IP cameras, and network video recording systems, on May 4 announced a series of new positions in the expanded support and marketing departments, as well as new sales staff and several significant promotions.

In North America, Ivan Widdifield has been appointed as regional sales manager for the Central US Region and Gary Thomas takes over as the new sales manager for California and Hawaii. In the company's San Juan Capistrano headquarters, Richard Delaney is the new technical support services manager and Heather Payne has joined the company as an executive sales assistant.

The company also announced several key promotions and staff relocations. In marketing, Wendi Grinnell has been promoted to director of global marketing communications and is now responsible for all company branding, advertising, website management, trade show events, and promotions. Don Ashley has been promoted to product manager and has relocated to the California Corporate Headquarters. Mike Gruber has been promoted to director of sales operations managing both the inside sales and technical support groups.

Pete DeAngelis, IQinVision President and CEO, was sanguine about the company's market position. “IQinVision weathered last year's global slowdown without missing a beat. We posted solid revenue growth along with our 15th consecutive profitable quarter in Q4 2009,” DeAngelis said. “The company and our channel partners are poised for continued success in 2010.”
