ISC New York predicts boost in attendees

October 14, 2004 NEW YORK - With ISC East only a few weeks away, Reed Exhibitions is reporting that attendee pre-registration is looking up this year. According to show management, more than 10,000 installers, systems integrators and end users have pre-registered to attend the two-day tradeshow and conference, Nov. 3 and 4. That is a significant increase when compared with 3,965 pre-registered attendees for last year’s show in Washington, D.C. Dean Russo, industry vice president, ISC Events, said he is pleased to see this level of interest in the show. He said the interest is primarily coming from the tri-state region, but attendees are also coming from states such as Missouri, Utah and Georgia. Russo also said he expects more end users will attend this year’s event. The boost in attendance may be exactly what the show needs. This year the event is returning to New York for the first time since 2001 and follows a poor performance in Washington, D.C. last year.
