JC covets major airport security overhaul

MILWAUKEE--Johnson Controls will provide security, IT and other upgrades at an offsite control and command center at the Reno/Tahoe International Airport in Reno, Nev. The airport's command center will serve as the heart of security operations, providing information on its access control, CCTV, fire, radio and telecommunication systems. The $2.6 million project also includes work in the airport's terminals, concourse and parking garage. The project is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2006.
