Johnson Controls aligns with Orsus

MILWAUKEE--Johnson Controls, a provider of security technology and systems integration services, announced on May 12 a strategic agreement with Orsus, a provider of situation management services. The alliance will combine Orsus' situation management software, Situator, with Johnson Controls' systems integration expertise to offer situation management solutions.
"The Johnson Controls business and approach to the market is complimentary to Orsus, as we are seeking large, multi-national and critical infrastructure-type customers to provide with centralized command and control to improve operations," said Joel Lehman, vice president and general manager fire and security, North America, for Johnson Controls in a prepared statement.
As part of the alliance, the two companies are working together to offer situation management solutions to corporate clients worldwide and within the government market.
