Kidde loses one, gains one

FARMINGTON, Conn.-Edward LeBlanc, president of Kidde Residential & Commericial, announced that he is retiring Dec. 31. Replacing him will be Robert Aquilino, formerly president of electric lock manufacturer Onity. Onity, like Kidde, is a subsidiary of United Technologies Co. Fire & Security. LeBlanc served as president for five years after coming from Regent Lighting. In another announcement, Jim Clark, recently vice president of global sales and marketing for GE Security, has joined UTC Fire & Security as vice president of marketing and marketing strategy. UTC's security properties include Lenel and Chubb.
