Lennar teams with Best Buy in pilot

MINNEAPOLIS - National home-builder Lennar, through its subsidiary Lundgren Bros., based here, has embarked on a pilot program with Best Buy to install home networking in several area communities. Under the new program, Best Buy will provide Networked Home Solutions, an assortment of computer and home entertainment networking packages, in more than 500 homes in several communities. Lundgren Bros. will handle the installation of the wiring packages. Peter Beucke, Lundgren Bros. vice president-sales, marketing and architecture, said the new Best Buy packages are a great benefit to homeowners looking for a simple home networking solution. “Networked Home Solutions makes it easy to choose a state-of-the-art system for both the novice and the techno-savvy homebuyer,” he said. “Teaming with Lundgren Bros. gives our Networked Home Solutions packages exposure with people who are looking to optimize entertainment options in their homes,” said Sean Skelley, vice president of strategic planning and business development for Best Buy. “Networked Home Solutions provides Lundgren Bros.’ homebuyers the opportunity to enhance the products and services they currently own.”
