Lowitt achieves UL2050

HICKSVILLE, NY--Lowitt Alarms & Security Systems here recently received its UL 2050 certification, according to Andrew Lowitt, vice president of marketing for the company. This certification enables Lowitt to secure and monitor facilities that store classified government information. Lowitt said the company wanted to have the certification because of work it does with clients who do business with the aerospace and freight industry, an industry with which Lowitt intends to do more work.
